We want to offer transcontinental bicyclists
& others shunning fossil-fuelishness
a comfortable & eco-conscious place to stay in Boulder, Colorado
...bicycling hub of the universe!
There are certainly other B&Bs already well established in town,
but we don't see anyone specifically catering to bicyclists. Of course,
it's great to see other places making serious strides to be eco-conscious.
For now, this is just a trial. 'Want to see if it's feasible, and to
determine what-all it takes to make it happen. If it goes well, we will
pursue whatever is needed to formalize things.
'Have a spare bedroom, as well as a loft,
and a wonderful deck where a futon could be thrown down.
There's not too much in the way of flat / level space
for someone to pitch their tent... a bit, but not much.
'Got fresh, home-grown eggs, garden vegies, as well as other options
for breakfast, and am open to possibly sharing other meals with our guests.
'Not quite sure what to charge for a "bed & breakfast". It's rather shocking
to see what others are asking... 'seems over the top. 'Generally open to
negotiation, and there's some limited potential for work-trade.
Our intention is to keep it very reasonable, yet make it worthwhile.

We're very close to town, but --relatively speaking-- very quiet,
peaceful, and cool - outside of the asphalt & concrete grid.
'Specifically interested in hosting folks that
arrive by non-conventional, non-fossil-fueled means.
That's how we get around as a mater of routine,
and we're thrilled to host those that do the same!
Others should seek out the plentiful options open to them.

The innkeepers along the bike trails offer hospitality and respite for travelers.
They will be happy to help you plan a trip using their B & B as a base or
as one of several stops on your biking (or hiking) vacation.
